True Friendship

True friendship always reminds me of Hebrews 13:8 which says: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” and you better believe it because He will never forsake you or leave you no matter what changes need to be made in life.  This could be a change with your job, school, health, losing a loved one, getting married and starting a family, or moving out of state or even out of the country Jesus is always there and will be a true friend.  No matter how many people you’ve disappointed or have given up on a friendship with you, know that He will always be there forever and will go through all of the challenges in life with you and never change that’s why it’s important that He’s first in your life and all else falls behind.

How We Should Pray to God

The Traditional Version of the Lord’s Prayer:

Our Father, which art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come.

Thy will be done in earth,

As it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive them that trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

The power, and the glory,

For ever and ever.

Amen.

Wait on the Lord

Psalm 27:14 says “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

For anyone having a rough time out there, know that the Lord our God will always keep us above water no matter the ups and downs that will show up in our lives.  We have to realize that all things will one day change as time goes by, and there will be things that we do not like and are unprepared for, but God knows what He is doing.  We have to trust Him, and have faith that once the plan God has in store for each of His children runs it's full course, that it will strengthen us and draw us closer to Him.  It just takes some time and patience, but waiting on the Lord is the best thing anyone can ever do in this life.
